About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on experience across frontend, backend, and data-oriented workflows.

This role focuses on building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications within complex and evolving environments. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with autonomy, technical ownership, and the ability to contribute quickly to existing systems and business logic.

You will work on AI-enabled and data-driven platforms, collaborating closely with engineering and product stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions that support real business needs.

This opportunity is ideal for someone proactive, technically strong, comfortable working with ambiguity, and capable of balancing speed, quality, and maintainability in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications
• Build frontend features using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Work directly with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL or similar SQL-based systems
• Write, troubleshoot, review, and optimize SQL queries
• Work with relational data models, joins, aggregations, migrations, and query debugging
• Design and integrate APIs across frontend and backend systems
• Support data-oriented workflows and integrations
• Use Docker for local development, testing, and deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and business logic
• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Apply software architecture principles such as Abstraction Layers and Separation of Concerns to ensure scalability and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and implementation planning
• Contribute to documentation, maintainability, and knowledge-sharing practices
• Work autonomously within distributed teams and contribute without requiring extensive ramp-up or detailed supervision
• Use modern development and AI-enabled tools responsibly while maintaining full ownership and understanding of implemented solutions

Requirements

Must-Have

• Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Production experience with Next.js
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js
• Solid experience working with JavaScript and/or TypeScript in backend environments
• Strong hands-on experience with relational databases
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL-based systems
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries directly
• Experience working with relational data models, joins, aggregations, migrations, debugging, and query optimization
• Experience working with SQL beyond ORM-level abstractions
• Experience designing and integrating APIs across frontend and backend systems
• Experience using Docker in real development or deployment environments
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and scalable system design
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and ownership skills
• Ability to understand existing systems quickly and contribute autonomously
• Experience working in distributed teams
• Comfortable working in environments with evolving requirements and complex business logic
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 minimum)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks
• Experience with Azure SQL
• Experience or exposure to Databricks
• Experience with MySQL or other relational SQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with data-heavy applications or analytics-driven workflows
• Experience in retail technology, e-commerce, logistics, marketplaces, point-of-sale systems, or consumer-facing platforms
• Experience supporting production systems or client-facing applications
• Experience improving legacy or highly contextual systems
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
• Experience working on applications with complex business rules
• Ability to identify gaps, propose improvements, and work proactively

Academic Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields is preferred
• Equivalent practical experience is also considered valuable
